Look in the plumbing/solder section for something called a flame shield.

Do you know what they call it or which department? I asked my Lowes today they didn't know what I was talking about.

I'm about ready to give up on Lowes. I was in there recently and wanted some emery cloth. At least half of the employees had never heard of it and the few that knew what it was couldn't find any. I finally gave up and a few days later went to Home Depot. There was a guy sweeping in one of the aisles that I asked and he found me a package of emery clothe.

Frustrating... but I guess Lowes is getting what they pay for
