Thanks for that, just bought some Dutch quilt hangers and pulled some cordloks off old equipment.
With good results, however trying to add an air pad pushes the driducks UQ out of place, but quite functional for $5 and $2 in elastic.

You may wanna try the pad in the hammock with it about 70% full of air.
I've never tried one on the outside, maybe some additional shockcord attachments strictly for the pad attaching it to the hammock to keep it from putting all its weight on the UQ.
If I were you though I wouldn't use a pad and resort to other forms of insultion like Insultex
