Love my Te-Wa. Beautifully made and he was fantastic about custom work. Honestly, couldn't be happier.
So what should I look for? Thinking torso length as my kit is full length.
I've spent 7 nights so far in my Hammock Gear 0'f Incubator, in temps between 25'f - 35'f and am very happy. This is my first UQ so I have nothing to compare it too; but I have no complaints or criticisms so far.
Length is important. So is width, especially if you're wide in the shoulders. Look at the temperature ratings as a guide, factoring in your own personal comfort zone. And, if you're a backpacker, of course, look at weight. Factor weight and compressability into your decision.
Maybe start with: OK, do I want down or synthetic? That will narrow it down by a lot. Then full length or 3/4 length? That will narrow it down even further. Finally, look at the width dimensions. They vary slightly from one manufacturer to another.
If full length is your preference, use Gunner76's full length underquilt spreadsheet to compare other factors like weight and cost: Click here It is very useful!!! Good luck!

Surely, God never did.

Their are lots of other HG reviews as well as lots of other reviews on other vendors quilts. As you see I am a personal fan of HG but Id read through all the reviews and pick the best one for me.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
I have a Hammock Gear Incubator-- it is truly an amazing item to own..

There is a company called Hammock gear. I'm not sure if you have heard of them, but they are very good.
