Took my new hammock to the gathersing at the 501 shelter.

    I talked Dutch into modeling.

Here's a view of side sleeping in this hammock

Neither Dutch nor I could get in the fetal position. Dutch is 6ft in height. I am 6'2".

I slept great on my back for the night. VERY comfortable. I liked that I can see out of this hammock while streched out on my back.

I'm taking this on a two week hike leaving this upcoming Saturday, 19 May. I know I'll be sleeping good every night!!

I'm sure there will be a Dutch app for that.

How does the bugnet fit on it?? Does it sag in your face, or is it up out of the way?

The bug net is well of my face. It's a well designed hammock.

Ha! I don't know about that. I only addressed this as someone had asked. I can get on my side and fairly close to the fetal, but not all tucked up like that. I wouldn't be comfortable like that in any hammock, or bed for that matter. I gotta stretch out!

Just purchased the BMBHUL. The pad pocket seams were the only thing I did not like about the original BMBH.

    Looks great in the pictures.

could you use a pad in the U/L? obviously not in a sleeve, but I wonder if on top there is enough room with it being more shallow?

I dont have mine yet, but I can't think of a reason that it would not work.
