Help with tarp tensioners

I remember a good while back that someone here experimented with slicing shock cord into zing-it and did a tutorial on it but for the life of me I can't find it.

If anyone remembers what I'm talking about I'd appreciate the help. Been searching for half an hour with no luck.

I have no idea what thread you're talking about. But it sounds like a great idea, so I'm interested to see it too.

Off the top of my head, I'd think you'd have to use 2.2 instead of 1.75. Can't picture getting shock cord to bury in the small stuff.

Thanks cinnamon. And thank you hobbies. That was what I was looking for but I could have sworn it was posted by Opie. Thanks for pointing that out, I read that thread and must have skipped that page as all the other methods mentioned had a few hitches in them. Thanks for the help.
