Hi all. Ran across this site while researching various hammock makers. Was surprised by all the mods, tips and tricks one can use so I figured I best join.
We make yearly treks to the BWCA for usually 2 weeks at a time, and even though I love my Timberline Outfitter tent, my old a** is tired of sleeping on roots and rocks. Buddy bought a Hennessy a few years back and loves it so I decided yesterday after reviewing countless statements here to get a Jungle Hammock from Mosquitohammocks.com.

Can't wait for it to arrive. Look forward to learning all I can. I am definitely a hands on sorta guy and love making things myself, even if I can buy it cheaper so maybe one day, make my own hammock, who knows.

Married with 2 kids the wife says are definitely mine, live down in the S.E. corner of Minnesota, about 40 miles or so South of Rochester.

Active paddler, camper, anything outdoor, I'm in.

Belong to a couple other forums, namely a smokin meat site. Been making my own sausage, and curing my own meats for a while now.

Catch ya on the forum, got allot to learn before I hit the BWCA this year.
