Up here in Maine and never had problems with mosquitoes and my 1.7 DL BB.
I use the same hammonck in the Ozarks and have had some bug bites. I occasionally treat my hammock with permitherin and don't have any issues.

Here in tropical QLD in Australia and I've never had a mossie bite me through my hammock.
Here in Arkansas, the flatlands of AR, skeeters are horrible and never had a problem, but I would permitherin just in case.
I live in north Texas near DFW. I have never had a problem with the mossies!
Have have wbbbd1.1 I have not got a bite on me yet in Texas
