    Side pull outs on my tarp

    Has anybody use pole mods on there side pullouts. If so could you post any Picts. How did you connect the pole to the d-rings? Thanks

    Me too, me too.....I just got an OES 4 season with one pull-out. I've got some lines rigged for now but a pole mod would probably be better/easier.

    i used a loop of shock cord with a sliding barrel knot. (grizzlyadams)
    the knot slides up along the shockcord, and 'cinches' the pole.

    the pole wants to flip out and up, and this seems to work pretty well-- though
    i'm sure there is a better way.
