To hunt the "Grey Ghost", you need to be as aniseptic and as stealthy as possible,,as invisible as the deer your hunting and I find that I would have to camp totally away from the area I wanted to hunt in order to accomplish my goals. Here is just a few racks of whitetail and sorry if they are not perfect pics as I just quickly snapped them and uploaded them now. they are all 20" to 26" wide spreads and have more stashed here and there. I also hunt by myself so as not to have the areas screwed up with bow, handgun, muzzleloaders, and shotguns.
I would only do it for small game not deer.

Great hunting here in central Ga. for deer and small game. I hunted almost evry weekend from Sept. till Jan. and was in my hammock every night. I only hunt public land now and have very few problems. During small game seasons you have hundreds of thousands of acres almost to yourself. Great hiking in the rolling hills and woods

Backpacking in for spring turkey is a great way to roost some birds and get in position early
