Bag or Quilt. What-cha got? Like it or leave it

I'm in the market for a new sleeping bag. I have been heavily thinking about the Big Agnes Summit Park http://www.bigagnes.com/str_bags.php?bid=18 I was just wondering what you use as your primary gear in terms of bag or quilt. Which type of seeping bag. Do you use it as a bag or drape it over you like a quilt? Do you only use a quilt. I'm not only wondering what type you use but if you like it and would recommend your setup to another

I use either a Monte Bell 20* or The North Face 0* depending on how far I'm hiking (big diff. in the weight of the two) and the temps for that area. I have a fleece bag that I use only in the summer. I usually keep the footbox zipped and maybe a little more and then use it as a quilt.

Being able to wear these quilts around camp is a tremendous option. I use my Driduck
rain jacket over it to help protect it. I look like a green Michelin man.

What temp range are you looking at using it?

I love using quilts. When I have used a sleeping bag, I use it like a quilt. I would say if your primary use is going to be in a hammock, then JRB quilts are the way to go. If your primary use is on the ground, then JRB quilts are still the way to go.

I use a moonstone bag for 3 seasons with a CCF and a 0 bag in the winter with a Big Agnes Insulated Aircore pad. I intend to change to a quilt set in the near future.

I have been using a custom full zip Feathered Friends rock wren bag.
It is a full mummy bag, or a quilt, or an underquilt all in one.
also had it overstuffed for a bit lower rating.
Been my most versatile piece of insulating gear for last few years.
I have two other wearable bags, but nothing comes close to FF gear in terms of quality, warmth for low weight/bulk.

I have a few good sleeping bags, but I take my Jacks R Better quilts every time and leave the bags at home. Mule

Can't vote 'cause I'm stuck between a Rock Wren bag and a No Sniveler I just aquired from Trogobil, what a dillemma! I'm thinking that unless it is really cold the quilt will win out. It there was a chance of having to sleep in a shelter or on the ground the Wren would be best. If anyone is thinking about getting a Rock Wren, order it with a 3/4 or full zip so it can be used as a quilt. It is simply TOO WARM on summer nights and that half zip can't be opened far enough.

I use a Nunatak Arc Alpinist top quilt with a JRB nest for an underquilt. The only thing I might change is to get a overstuff Arc Ghost because it is not as wide and weighs less.
The solid footbox is easy to slip into rather then getting into a bag.
For summer I would like to make a light fleece quilt similar in design used with the Nest. It would be perfect for cool summer nights.

What temp range are you looking at using it?

Mostly winter use which would range in temperature from +20 to -10 Degrees. I am a warm sleeper so I was thinking about a +15 bag would be fine and I could use a liner incase of very cold nights.
