Another big thanks to Sgt Rock for putting this together. I enjoyed seeing some familiar and new faces. It was cool to see all the great diy gear by Sgt Rock, Black Wolf, Detail Man, and others.

Thanks to Gredemeer and Yellowjacket for sharing their camp the first night when we came in at dark. They had some pretty cool diy hammocks and stoves. At the time we did not realize we were only a couple hundred yards from the main campsites Woke up to see Wisenber walking thru the creek fishing.

It was a small reunion of Medicineman, Poof, Spamburglar, and Roche from a previous Big South Fork hang. Enjoyed seeing everyone again and also seeing Medicineman using his new sock. It was the first time I saw it in action after leaving the work table.

Finally thanks to Rafter C's sharp eyes finding my neck knife on his hike out and Roche for packing it out and mailing it to me.

Looks like a total success. Kudos to SGT Rock for putting this together.

MM, 'stellar' video. Thanks for catching things 'live'.

What a great hang! Saw old friends, met new ones, and finally ran into "some old timers I'm familiar with" (Sgt Rock; Tipi Walter; Bearpaw & Dewey) via the internet campfire. Rock had us in stitches Friday night with some of his hiking stories. Then he's throwing slaps of grilled meat at me Saturday night to devour - thanks to all who carried and cooked. A special thanks to Skeeter and Yellow Jacket for clearing the widow makers and providing fire wood - some great kids there.

Another fine video MedicineMan. By the way, it's actually a soul patch that's under the hat. And I liked the digrat you pulled coming into camp, just like RRG.

Wisenber - Black Wolf must have your other lung. With the way he easily strolled up Stiffknee, he must have been getting supplemental oxygen as compared to the two fat guys he was with.

Roche, thanks for reminding me. I did not thank nor even think to ask who humped in the precious--my serious bad. I apologize to Skeeter, YellowJacket and Acer. These three are on my cam list.
Also, last night at 0200 in the kitchen I fired up the Dredemir Stove....guess which stove is going on the HMW! 7 grams is hard to beat.

    MAD here you go

Now the beauty of this stove is that with the Firefly I've got wood/esbit/charcoal/baking ability/ and alchohol all for less than 3.3 ounces
Dredemir was kind enough to put this one into the stove museum but he knew it was going to be used.
Roiling boil 2 cups water on 3/4 ounce r-oh in 7:43 ....in the kitchen....

Hi medicine man. Just wanted to correct typo. "GREDEMEER STOVE". Hope you enjoy it. I just finished building a replacement to go back into my kit. It is 7.4 grams just slightly heavier than yours. You still have my lightest rendition of that stove. Let me know how you like using it.
