    Not at all.
I can't remember the weight cuben but I'm guessing the thicker stuff...how hard was it to stuff and/or did you roll it up? What size stuff sack did you use if you did.
It was the .74 per yard that Lawson Outdoors had on sale. I think he is out of it now, but Zpacks sells it. It does not stuff well. I made a pocket for the hammock out of some left over .51 cuben that would have been large enough for a fabric hammock of the same size, but it won't even come close to stuffing in it. The sack I used is one I made myself out of a failed food bag made from .51. It is on it's last legs, but I estimate it at 750 ci and I put the hammock, JRB No-Sniveler, and a Te-Wa summer quilt all in the same bag.
You know how Tyvek will 'soften' with washings/use...do you think this weight cuben will ever grant some forgiveness in the hand? I cant see water/washing doing anything but maybe a break in period?
I don't know. I doubt it will change much. WV would probably know better.
I do think this is the next target in major weight savings for us; and at this point in the evolution of gear 1-2 ounces is a major advancement compared to the pound savings of years (well not that many years) ago.

Seems there are two forms of comfort going on. The comfort from texture/rigidity on the skin/body and the comfort of knowing you won't be dropped. Seems like you had no fear of materail failure/dropping but a little concern over the size -both of those can be addressed in the next one you make- but that rigid feeling, even compensated by the pad; do you think you'll forgo the comfort of the other gathered ends for this amount of weight savings?
I don't know on that one yet either. I got use to it quickly and never had a problem getting to sleep. The next step is to try an overnight without the pad and just an underquilt. The weight savings over my current fabric ghost is only 1.67 ounces and I am perfectly happy with it - plus it packs smaller. For my summer pack space is a big issue.

The cuben Ghost does give the benefit of a slight weight savings and windproof barrier all in one, it may end up being a winter hammock and the fabric model may end up being my summer hammock. I'm going to bring both to the hang next month so others can see what I am talking about.
