I have to work that weekend but will be in that exact campsite 10 days later.

Leave me some extra firewood all neatly stacked up.

If you have something to cut it with, I had to clear a very large and involved blow down near there a couple of years back. There is still a lot of that wood laying there, much of it bigger than most people would want to carry.

Yes. I'll be out a week ahead of time doing some maintenance. It may be an overnight trip down there.

FWIW, I will probably bring a saw and an axe in for the UL Hang just in case the trail needs work while I am walking in. I wouldn't count these in my 5 pound base LOL. I'll also be bringing a pocket digital scale in case anyone wants to weigh anything, also not counted.

Is anyone maintaining Stiff Knee now? That might be an excuse to go visit some large yellow jacket nests if your section is overly tidy.

It's also a good excuse to get your feet wet!

I think we have a maintainer for that section now.

Boy do I wish I could join in this.. I'd love to organize a similar get-together on the West Coast, once I've grown familiar with the PNW

Consolation to myself: June 16th I'll be summiting Mt. Adams - though camping at 9k' in a tent is something I'm not looking forward to

Yep. You just have to figure out how to get there.
