Thank you! It took some time for me to know what I needed before I could sew what I wanted....if that makes sense...??

That is pretty much why I asked the question in the first place! I like your concept. As soon as I make my quilts, I might do the same.

I cram mine in the top. My BB bag is a stuff sack with a buttonhole on one end that my hammock rings (on spetra line) stick out of. The other end is normal stuff sack.

Fortunately, I've not had to real with very wet straps. My plan is to put them in an outside pocket of my pack.

I have my bag done, its about 1.5L and has a 1L internal bag for my bugnet. I think that I have room to put some smaller (normal people) straps. The bugnet compresses pretty well, but seems it would be difficult to actually stuff it in the sack if it were any smaller.

I reinforced the buttonhole ropeholes. Don't think this will be my final setup. Too much I think I can do better after a little tinkering.

I put a second set of cord locks on the drawstrings. Coil the straps, stick them in the drawstrings, and cinch down. Done.

Just tried to restuff the bag, and busted it wide open. 1.1 ripstop is a little too weak I suppose.

    Sorry to hear that.

Did it let go at the seams, or across virgin fabric? 'Cause you could always reinforce the seams, if needs be...

Still and all, it looked like a nice bag!
