Thread: BMBH UL arrived

The webbing is connected by running it thru the main suspension rings and using the tri-glides that are also provided. If you don't want to use the webbing just throw on a set of whoopies..

There is one triglide for each end. The strap connects to the hammock with the triglide on it. You take the strap around the tree, then back through the triglide. It's like a buckle, and when you thread it back through both slots it holds. There's pics on jrb's site.

i guess i was asking how that webbing is detachable---

the old bmbh had the strap sewn to the ring...

the tri-glide system i'm familiar with,, just can't put together how the new setup works.

Sewn loop at one end of the webbing that you can larks head to the ring at the tip of the "V" on the hammock suspension. I put whoopie slings on mine, in the same fashion.

You could reverse it, and put the strap around the tree and run it through the sewn loop. Then you'd run the strap through the ring on the hammock line and back through the triglide. Either way I suppose.

makes sense, wasn't sure if the intention was to larkshead the webbing on the ring.

    thanks for clearing that up
