I hope you're happy with any decision you make. Feel free to make any statements you'd like as well as ask
any questions. Folks here are very helpful. Even when you're not asking a question. Which leads me to several questions I'd like to ask, but won't ought of respect tothe moderator and real question askers who may want to get something out of this forum.

But another thing you might try: figure out where the quilt is supposed to be once you are in your optimal position in the hammock. And get your quilt adjusted in perfect position with no gaps. Then take a small safety pin and pin either the the quilt suspension or fabric edge to the edge of your hammock on near the left shoulder and maybe the foot. <snip>

    .
    Exactly. Safety pins.
$1. No need to mail order.

For $1 more, they come big and brass-coated. Safe enough for infant diapers. No sewing or commitment to location required. Mount several. Then quick-release to the UQ loops with 4g shower rings or .9g velcro ties, $.10 and $.008 each.

Safety pins might come undone? A touch of super-glue takes of that. How to remove? Snippers or pliers.

That's it? That's all the info on how the problem was solved after all of this?

But good to hear, glad it worked out for you! I am assuming you picked up some useful UW tips from some UQ users at the MWL hang over tyhe weekend?

But they work on your Claytors?
What are the differences between the two with regards to the underquilts? Gotta admit, this one makes me curious.

I had the same issue with it sliding off to the side, I finally got it solved. I don't like whoopieslings either. As for the figure nines they haven't poked holes in my tarps yet, but I have recently switched out to Dutch flys in my ridge line and tie outs.

What do they have in common that causes DD and Claytor to be seen as siblings rather than cousins? That the packager runs the rope out directly from the end channel to the respective side of the tree without tying it first so the ends of the channel nearly kiss?

Yes, I know this is off-topic, but Neo isn't giving up much, so one of the big questions might be answered in this thread.
