    Hey there!

Been discussed a few times, should be an easy search. Was there any thing in perticular about them you were wondering. They can be down, synthetic, make shift, tied to your ridgeline, DIY....etc. For me personally Ill take a Hammock Gear one I have or Ill stuff a buff with some type of clothes for a multipurpose/weight weinie effect.

for me, the synthetic pillow is more comfortable. synth will hold it's loft better when under the weight of the head and neck. synth pillow will also take up more room in your pack.
this is my pillow and i wouldn't trade it for any other.

I'm a "extra jumper(sweater)/clothes" kind of pillow person. I don't carry one if I'm hiking and find I don't really need one in my hammock.

But I have heard good things about little pillows for hammocking- see if you can find a small one.

    Winter: total 2521 (~89oz)

I use a clothing filled stuff sack, my Blackrock down pillow and my synth from Paul at Arrowhead. I like variety!

I've wondered about this. I'm definitely the same way at home. Seems like it takes 3 down/feather pillows to support like 1 good synth pillow. In the hammock I use an inflatable pillow w/ fleece cover bag.

I have a Hammock Gear pillow and with 3 oz of down stuffed in it, I don't think anyone will think it's not as "supportive" as synthetic fill.
