Converted Swing Set into Hammock Hanger

After contemplating the DIY project of a bamboo/PVC stand, I decided to utilize what my household already had available... My daughter's swing set! Below are 3 pics. One is the whole kit n kaboodle (ENO SN w/ whoopies, PRO FLY, and New River KAQ). Only a 12 foot top rail, thus not as long of a spread as id like, but I still get a flat hang;-). The other 2 pics are what I added to the swing set in order to take the Force Load. Explanation later. Gotta help the wife...

Really nothing fancy... Just took 2 pieces of wood, drilled 4 holes on each piece, attached them to either side of the swing frame with 2.5" woods screws, then inserted 1 big eye hook and little hook to clip my hammock to with my biners (webbing not used with whoopies). The little eye hook is just for my tarp ridgeline

"Honey, did you mow the grass?" "Nope! built a hammock stand."

Thats a great setup....no abstract lawn orniments to explain to the neighbors.
