Picked these up today. What's the health risk? Do I do the baggie cooking?

For boiling water....I wouldn't worry at all.
From what I understand the main risk is acidic foods causing Al to leach. Nothing I worry about, but ymmv.
Can I drink from them if I boil and do coffee from it? Can I cook a can of ravioli in it wo doing a baggie n boil trick? Those camping pots from cabelas are freaking retarded expensive for what you get.
They say aluminum causes a disease that effects memory but I can't remember what it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm no expert, but I always figured that aluminum poisoning ranks right up there with Y2K.
I thought the risk of aluminium poisoning was from deodorants/anti-perspirants? 0_o
I think it is in the air???

Humm, IM curious, cuz ill be using one this weekend. If you never hear from me you know what happened!
I laugh at all the AL jibes. The pots will be fine, you are exposed to AL all the time, just don't know it as it's everywhere.
Way back in time, there was a fear of an Alzheimers link to cooking in AL, since the disease presents as lesions that are aluminum-heavy in the brain... or something like that. Since then, the AL as a cause has been dispelled.
AL is safe. In acidic foods, your food might taste funny, or the pot might get stained... Other than that? No stress...
