    Finding extra hammock storage space

The top and bottom gathered ends of hammocks have unused space. I designed a bag for it. The bag is fastened to an elastic cord which is attached to the end of the structural ridge line. It's pulled down for access, then retracts when you're finished. The opening is sealed with Velcro.

Oft referred to as a peak bag. Never seen one with a Velcro closure though.

Nice work. I've been thinking about using my cuben pack cover for that reason & clip it up in that area.

Peak bag. Most regular stuff sacks can be fitted to the ridgeline. I'll often hook my empty stuff sack on the rl to perform the same task. No need to carry extra bags.

You are correct, I've been using the WBBB hammock which provided me a shelf for storing a few items, I changed over to my DIY hammock and needed a way to store a few things. Hoping it will work out for me.
