    Talking Hello from BC, Canada!

    Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I'm a university student from Vancouver, BC although I'm currently living in Victoria. I just bought my first hammock today - a Hennessy Expedition A-sym Zip. I've been borrowing tents from people for years but I've always known that when the time came to get my own camping gear I would buy a hammock. I've been lurking on this forum for the last few days and already I've fallen in love with it. You guys are a spectacular bunch!!

    I am heading to Goldstream Provincial Park tomorrow to test it out, along with my new Primus Gravity II EF camping stove. I plan to spend the day lounging in the sun with a good book (assuming I manage to get the hammock up that is). It will be the first trip I've taken since exams finished and it is much needed!

    Hi Jessica,

    Congratulations on a well deserved rest! Since I'm in Victoria as well, I would be interested in hearing how you make out in hanging in Goldstream. I'm waiting for my WBBB with a Mamjamba tarp...anxiously waiting!

    I don't think there are many hammock people on Vancouver Island but I'm sure there will be. And Hammock Forums is indeed full of spectacular people.
