New WBBB. twisted?

Howdy All - I'm new to hanging, and have tried out a HH for a few nights before deciding to buy a WBBB DL 1.1.
It just arrived, and I set it up from the posts in the garage to test it out.
I LOVE the footbox, but no matter what I did, I could NOT lie there without a twist in my body. My right shoulder is always higher than my left one.
Dangit! I really wanted to love this thing, but it's uncomfortable.
Am I doing something wrong?

I've never heard of that before . Try hanging with more slack in the ridge line (you can always shorten your ridge line later). More sag has cured all of my hammock ills, so far.

you probably need to experiment with it more...(find the sweet spot).

the first night, I barely got any sleep.... after that it's been getting a lot better.


once you find the sweet spot, it's very comfortable.


and I agree, maybe you need more slack in the ridgeline. When mine is/was tight, it definitely had more squeeze/uncomfortable-ness.

I've never had that problem, but the first time my son played in one he said the same thing to me. We found out it was because he was not laying at the right diagonal. Once he figured that out, he had no problems. He sleeps in his wbbb1.1 all the time now. If your shoulders r too far to the right or left they will not lay flat. This most often occurs if you try to lay in the hammock without staking the sides and zipping up the bug net. Try shifting your upper body more to the left and see what happens.

It took me a few weeks of pratice to find that sweet spot and once I did ooohhh so sweet. Its super easy to set up but takes some pratice and tweaking to get it just right. Id say dont give it up yet and keep on hanging it with different sags of the RL

With any hammock there can be a lot of tweaking required to get it right or to find the sweet spot for you. Try as others have said and also you might find moving yourself toward the head or the foot can also help. As well as raising the foot end a little.

Don't be discouraged, you probably just need to dial it in.

Thank you everyone for encouraging me to keep trying.
I ended up having a marvelous night's sleep after I got it all together (and hung with more slack). I put in a closed-cell foam mat and a fleece blanket in between the layers, and then got all cozy with my sleeping bag on a 39 degree night.
Snug as a bug in a rug, I'd say!
I'm having my sweetie try it out tonight, so we'll see how many of these we end up with in the household!
