Set me up with an ultralight hammock system

Give me some setups for an ultralight hammock system. I do need a removable bug net and a versatile tarp.

i have a complete DIY rig. I haven't weighed it but i'd be willing to bet it's under 3 pounds

Hammock: $17 4 yards 1.1 Ripstop gathered end with structural ridgeline of paracord
Tarp: $17+$6 10x10 DIY 1.1 Ripstop "Blackcat" Hex, with silicone/mineral spirit weather proofing
Bugnet: $12+3 4 yards Camo Tulle, hemmed together to make 10x10 net/velcro ends/rock pockets at bottom
Whoopie Slings $22
Tree Straps: 30 feet webbing i had
Marlin Spikes $1.50 3" x 1/4" Cotter pins

Total: $78.50

The Bugnet can be un-velcroed at one end and "shower curtained" to one side or the other and taking off completely. I'm thinking about hemming a channel on the bottom of the net and running a line through so i can cinch it up tight when i'm in the hammock, but for now the rock pockets work fine.

Not looking for quilts (yet). Just hammock, bug net and tarp. I would like the tarp to be good for the ground also.

I would think one of the lightest ways to go would be something like a War Bonnet Traveler 12 -16 oz, a Travel net 8 oz, and an OES Micro 7 oz or OES Standard 10 oz. For my $, I would go with the Standard as it would give you another 12" on each side. Makes porch mode that much better.

I listed both weights for the Traveler. The 1.1 single will do for those who weigh less than 200, and the 1.7 single for those less than 250. Going with the 1.7 single, the total weight for the kit would be 16+8+10=34 oz, or 2# 2oz. Not including guy lines, quilts, or any other hardware. $226

The OES tarps are great for going to ground. I have used mine when I cowboy camp and it starts to rain during the night. I have also set it up over a bug net when I thought it was going to pour, but the bugs were bad at dusk.

you said UL ... how light are you trying to get with only $300.. it's going to limit how low you can go. The big thing that will limit you is Traps
cost of Cuben tarps are not cheap but they are the way to go if your a ULer
