I used this pack while backpacking in Montana a few years ago on the East Rosebud Trail. If you ever get a chance to hike this trail, DO IT! Start from the west end and thru-hike to the east end. Kind of a pain to make arrangements to get picked up and dropped off, but well worth it. The trail is only 25 miles but it you take your fly fishing gear and hike short days you can stretch this out to 5 days. You are near water almost continuously. This trail is very hammock friendly. We had a group of 8 and everyone but 1 was using a hammock.
Here's a good review on this pack. This one has the pockets on the hip belt and they are very useful. I found the pack to be very comfortable, the only issue was the sternum strap is not attached very well and I lost one of the attachment points early on. GoLite replaced it at no cost to me.
