My buddy and I set out after work, on Friday, to hike up Crane Mountain, outside of Warrensburg, NY.
We soon found out within the first 15 minutes this was a decent little climb.
We made it to Crane Mountain Pond with enough time to set up before dark.
Here is my DIY Speer Hammock, DIY Speer Tarp, AHE Jarbidge, and my Lafuma Warn'n Light 800
(I closed the tarp ends before bed to keep some of the wind out. It got down to the 30's and I only noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night to find out my butt was on the ground due to my straps stretching! )
Checking out the Pond after things were all squared away at camp.
Making the last leg of the Climb
Made it to the top
This trip was rather fun and has taught me a bunch!
I am looking forward to the next trip!!!
I wanted to thank everyone for all the knowledge they provide on this board. It has provided me years of entertainment and DIY gadgets to play with
