    Finishing the AT

Well I am hoping to finish this trail this year, without any more unfortunate incidents.

After the trip to Trail Days and the Linville Gorge I will probably head back to Gorham NH

If anyone in the area wants to hike in that area around the 30th of this month on, PM me.

There is less than 300 miles of trail left to complete, so it may take less than 30 days. We will see.

I am not real sure how the cell reception will be in Maine but I will try to post as I can.

If anyone wants to follow along, here is a link to the latest journal www.trailjournals.com/TZBrown2012trailjournal

You can also catch the 2011 journal from there for last years adventure.

Here is the HF entry from last year with a few details

    Life's A Journey
It's not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body,
But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting,
    Woo Hoo!....What a Ride!

Good luck Tom. Wish I could join you for some of it. Just don't trip and fall.

Good luck on your quest!. My son is hiking this year. He passed through Damascus about a week and a half ago. He's been travelling with the now famous (or infamous) wolfpack.

    Proud and envious of you.
We're schedule for the HMW late summer so please take good notes on where you hung your hammock and food resupply...you'd be helping the elderly hiker!
    Safe walking to you.
