I have attached a PDF file for some good info on the upcoming hike.
Please look at page 24-68 as this is the same way we are going to do the AFT.
    Hey SBD;
I mailed you a map with a wrong starting point penciled in. Look at your map again and follow route 504 from the Black Moshannon lake up just past the fire tower symbol. Look were the AFT crosses 504. ( near the stage coach trail). That is where the hike will start heading South. This will match up with the PDF file that I attached on page 24-68.
I have made copies of the same for on the hike, so please be earth friendly and avoid making another copy as I will have your copy with me when we start the hike.
    Hey Two Tents:
I need your mailing address as I will be sending you out a real nice map of the AFT Monday morning July 9th. Please PM me with your snail mail address. ( SBD already has a map)
I will take care of the shuttle needs, so no one needs to worry about that.
We will meet at the parking lot near where the road ( 504) crosses Black Moshannon near the swimming area on Tuesday July 17th around noon.
We can accommodate a later time if SBD, Joe or if G...Hawk decides to boldly go on this wonderful adventure in the heart of beautiful Pa., and still want additional travel time.
Figure on about 4 to 4.5 days for food.
Hopefully we will wrap up on Saturday afternoon or Sunday Morning if the need arises.

I have been happily imagining being on the AFT with the group.
Spent some time with the site and maps.

Have begun to imagine the hot weather gear adjustments and how much additional water to carry.

Yet, still waiting on husband's ( Arthur ) expectations.
We had planned to camp, but he sometimes decides he is not inclined to.
Presently he is interested in working on his motorcycle.

If and when : I will drive to Harrisburg the day before, stay with my brother,
so I can be at the parking lot in good time.

Will let you know in the next few days.

I will not be joining you for the AFT hike.
Arthur has decided he does want to stick to our plans and vanCamp.

Looking forward to joining you in the near future.

MML--The Man, The Myth, and the Legend, will you hike for me, hike for my spirit and kick a few stones along the trail for me. I will pay you in trail magic somewhere down the trail.

    Thank you.

Looking forward to laughing on the trail with all of you, down the road.

Just a reminder bump for any more wanting to join in. Not that I'm not liking the core group that is going. Tuesday is coming fast but there is still time ta gear up and join us!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Can't make the full hike, but...

I might try to join you for Friday night (& Saturday morning, too - depending on where my car is parked)...
PMed MML for 'planned' possible/probable Friday night location on the AFT so I can figure out when/where to start my 'short' version of the hike...
One night with great trail friends/company is better than none!!

If coming up from behind, I'll be looking for those "MML" trail 'tags' - and if coming from ahead of you and I spot a "7WW", I'll know I've gone too far!

BTW, MML, how much are you going to charge Black Wolf (& G...Hawk?) for the "IHike4U.com" experience? (Photos are 'extra', of course! )
    Happy trails!!!
