Sounds familiar. Is there a Honeymoon Suite on your build list? Love to meet the one who puts up with you brother. She's gotta be a gem.

I hang because sleeping on the ground about kills me. I hang because it's simple, yet complicated. I love Gadgets. A Supercharged whoopieslinged full quilted camo nx 150, to me is a well thought out little slice of heaven.
And if you think I'm nuts for wanting to spend every available minute Hiking to a site 6 miles in the toolies to hang in it, well you're the type of person I'm trying to get away from.

I've converted a few of my friends to hammock camping and recently went backpacking with some guys I didn't really know. One of them brought a hammock, and the other said he thought about bringing his. Hammocks are more popular than I thought.

My wife thought I was nuts for being so into hammocks, but sleeping is a GREAT hobby! Once my wife slept in my BB with HG downy goodness, she was upset at me for ruining our "Hampton Inn Bed". Then she said she wanted to put up hammocks in the bedroom, but I didn't believe her. After several months of comments, I'm convinced that she's serious. Now we are looking at how to set up two Brazilian hammocks in our bedroom without getting rid of the bed.

Even I, owner of an rv, shun paved spots and seek roads less travelled. Heck, a ranger recently was amazed at where I was camping. and that I wasn' t stuck in the desert wash I was driving out of...

I just wish my wife and kids would hang with me... mine is a solo hanging existence...

Being a non-hammocker until earlier this year, every thought was one of jealousy. So glad I made the switch; it was just something I HAD to do.
