Does anyone have measurements or a drawing to make Hennessy type undercover, and overcover? I would like to try out an undercover on my Expedition but not finding a used one, so I have some cheap walmat nylon just lying here..... not sure where to start, I have not been able to find any plans for one or any details pictures. Can anyone help me out?

There have been a number of attempts at a DIY Super Shelter. To my knowledge they have all been failures to one degree or another. I have looked at my undercover and it does not appear to be a simple pattern. I use mine so I am not about to take it apart.
As far as the over cover is concerned... my DIY version is simply a clone of the bug net with several inches added to make it a little bigger. That one is not a problem at all.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

It might be time to break down and spend some money. I have a bunch of walmart ripstop and thought that I might be able to make a nice asym undercover to enhance the PLUQ i have, without having to spend any $$. I am still undecided as to which way to go, I know the SS is limited to fitting only Hennessy hammocks but I like the full coverage it provides. My other option is a nice big synthetic UQ.

Have you thought about making a simple UQ protector? It will add a few more degrees of warth and help to keep your PLUQ dry in a storm while cutting down on the heat robbing wind.
