    Rip-Stop Nylon

I am sure this has been covered before, but I can't seem to find it. I was wondering What Rip Stop Nylon weight is best for a DIY hammock, and Would a Top/Under quilt be made out of Rip Stop Nylon or will plain Nylon do?

The weight of material on a hammock is usually determined by user weight, the heavier the hanger the heavier the fabric. 1.1 single layer being on the lighter side, up to 1.7-1.9 double layer for the heavies Some of the cottage manufacturers such as Warbonnet have recommendations on their website for what weight fabric is best for your body weight. As far as quilts are concerned they are usually constructed of dwr rip stop, but must be down proof ( if using down). Hope this helps.

Or attempt to win yourself some Bloomingdales luxe king down pillows. Hard to do anymore since so many of us are out there bidding on them We ought to do a name thing where one person from the forums works on winning a set every week without bidding against each other.
