Hanging in the Mississippi delta this week next to the bayou. Is it possible to bitten through the canvas? **** these guys are tough. Only got it where my bare skin touched the canvas.

I've heard of bites through single layers of nylon. That's one of the advantages of a double layer hammock, besides the weight strength.

Canvas? Never heard of a canvas hammock.
Mosquitoes love me - I haven't gotten bit through the hammock body, but sometimes while I'm sleeping my hand will rest against the hammock bugnet. I wake up and my hand is so swollen I can't even find the bites. I hate skeeters.
The double fabric on the WBBB is pretty bite-free
I'm old. Forgive me.
Canvas is what stuff is made of. ;-)
It is a Hennessy. I love it, and with talking to people today around here, these critters will try to get through anything. WOW! Vicious!
All was ok except the small amount of skin actually touching the single layer of nylon material.
