What do you do with all the extra line?

Like Brian I figure 8 hank the excess line and leave a little bit of the tail to wrap arounfd the hank. I leave a few inches from where the it leaves the bury so I can still adjust the whoopies without having to undo everything. Takes about 5 seconds to do.

+1, if I even do that. I figure 8 the tarp line excess, but the whoopie, I usually just let it hang.

I let em hang, they make good drip lines for rain.

I just daisy chain the rest (I guess it's actually called a chain sinnet). It's keeps it up out of the way all nice and neat and it's quick to pull it out if needed

I leave mine hanging.

After a night its picked up its own weight in forest debris and tripped me over several times.

Its a foolproof system.
