    Hello from a hammock newbie in Western MA!

    Hi. Simply put, I'm a outdoorsy fella from Western Massachusetts interested in hammocks. I ditched sleeping in a tent a few years back and went with tarp, foam pad and sleeping bag, which works for me. As you all know, while lightweight, it has its downfalls. Sore back, the deafening sound of the tarp pulled over sleeping bag during rain, and requiring a relatively flat set-up area, to name a few.

    Well, I want to go the way of hammock. So, here I am. I look forward to sleeping in comfort. And style, secondarily.

    When you finish with the FAQ's, and you still have some questions, don't hesitate to ask them. Likely you will get a lot of answers and most of them good advise. This is a great place to learn. Happy hanging to ya.
