the 6th anual mid tn hangout at merriweather lewis was a blast.weather cooked a big batch of sloppy joes made with deer meat saturday night.some of us drove to david crocket state park for breakfast which is always great.and the traditional stop at sgt troys army store.we also had a great time kayaking on the buffalo river saturday.we had plenty to eat saturday nite
mandy and big bama made some great sweet corn bread that was great.i made my traditional dutch oven peach cobbler.i really enjoyed the hot wings from Nickand Bubba's they were great.it was another great hangout,see everyone in october at the fall hangoutneo

I have unpacked all the big stuff from my car and still can't find my keys. When it cools down I will give the car a fine detailed search.

I had a blast at the hang and enjoyed meeting new people and seeing familiar faces. Along with everything Neo said, I also loved the homemade breads, Neo's peach cobbler, the sugar cookies, the fresh peas from Lazy Boys garden, and the salad. I didn't eat everything but it was all good. Loved the paddle and rapid chute we went down!

A sincere thank you to all who helped me with my car, and a special thank you to Neo for JB welding it my radiator leak.

Really enjoyed the music and our knotting lessons! I also appreciated Jack Rabbit's and Will's help with some camping tasks! Thank you boys.

This last weekend was my 4th hang with the group. May 2011 was my 1st one. It's nice to be able to come to these and meet up with a great group of people.

We would like to thank you all for the congratulations on our 2 yr anniversary. It has been wonderful for both of us as well. It was nice to see all of the regulars at the hang as well as meet all of the new hangers that were there to share the weekend. We hate that we missed dinner on Friday but we got a late start from the house. Saturday was a blast on the river, breakfast also was a wonderful meal as always, the food and music Saturday night were excellent. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall.
