Mistake for me to see the Kifaru tent! I've got a MLD Duo-Mid in cuben for if I have to ground it
I'll also be studying the Karrimor---looks like a great piece of kit.

Thanks for the compliments! One tries and practices.... and with practice I got there.... (study) books, television, radio and a lot of traveling ...

The Kifaru is 'good enough' to go to ground Don't use it much but enough to warrant NOT selling it (so far). Saving up for a HG Cuben Winter Palace ... in the mean time using my JRB 8x8 or borrowing my Speer Winter Tarp back from a friend I sold it too...

I like my Karrimor but am now experimenting with an MEI Voyageur (panel loader and carry on [a bit heavy for backpacking but....) .... so far so good...

Started filming with my smartphone and liked it enough to buy myself a camera but haven't made up my mind yet so thanks for helping me out with the Nikon AW one (still high on the list)....
