not sure if this is in the right place, but here goes...
while thinking about making myself an underquilt I remembered that I had an old sleeping bag that I no longer use. I got it out and started to decide how I was going to cut it up to produce the underquilt I had an Idea. what if I could rig the sleeping bag, whole, under my hammock using the hood drawstring, and the two loops at the base (designed so you can hang it up to air) I tried it and it seemed that it would work. unfortunately I don't have anywhere where I can put my hammock up that will support my weight, so I couldn't test it properly, so I will endevour to test it properly as soon as possible.
has anyone else tried this? did it work, or is this idea doomed to faliure, and ridicule?
