I just got back to Atlanta from a 6 day trip to Tn, Damascus, Va and Linville Gorge area. While I was at Trail Days I did the normal walking and talking to vendors to see all of the great stuff.
I got into town on Friday and found a spot to hang. This was no as easy as I thought it was going to be. My biggest problem was trying to find a spot that was not completely covered in Posion Ivy. Once I was set up it was time to head off to the Park. It was great. I got to talk with so many of the fine folks that make all of the gear we wish for.
Saturday morning came around and I had decided I wanted to make my way down to Linville Gorge instead of sticking around Trail Days or another night. So I packed up but before heading out of town I decided to make one last stop at the vendor area. I knew I shouldn't have done that.
So what do I do. I stop off at Hammock Gear for a long talk with Adam and end up handing over my credit card for a new Four Season 12' Cuben Tarp. It packs so small, is so light and shiny (or maybe that is just my ADHD kicking in). I just could not resist any more and now I can't wait for it to get here.
Now all I have to do is sell my OES 4 Season Tarp.
