Matsell Bridge Overnighter with DangerBird

Finally christened the new DangerBird on a little overnighter last night at the Matsell Bridge Natural Area in northeastern Iowa. I had some other new toys I've been wanting to try out and I threw them all in the pack. Lots of fun, but those skeeters were a little wicked. Glad I triple-team them - permethrin, picaridin, and Thermacell. ;>)

Thanks all. And to grannypat, yes, we've lived here 34 years now. I grew up in southern Illinois, and Cedar Rapids has been a good second home. Just wish Iowa had more open wilderness areas. But Minnesota and Wisconsin aren't too far away. ;>)
