They all work
Thank-you divab. Ill check with Miss remidog and see if I can get away. We do some car camping and I have done a couple back yard hangs but it would be great to rough it a little more with some like minded folks.
Perhaps she can come along too. This is sort-of close to car camping....very sort of, meaning it's an easy walk back and forth to the vehicle. It's even a place I'm considering taking my 66 year old mother to some day. I'm not a hiker, due to some health issues, but I enjoy a nice walk. Hope that made since. There is a lot of room for day hikes here though, so you won't be left out of feeling a hiking need and it's a beautiful area. There is also no water supplied here, so you do have to pack in your own water and leave some extra in your vehicle.
Tendertoe or one of the others can help with directions to the kiosk, which I found more than a bit confusing my first time there...and still actually a little foggy on that
Hi Sherry,
Thanks for the invite! I've actually never been to a hang so I'd be really excited to go! Hopefully I can make it. So far looks like the 22nd would work best for myself.
Cheers,
I can't wait till this trip and seeing tendertoe again, and everyone else from the winter hang and last summers hang. I'm going to work harder this time trying to help mom more and whoever else needs it
but sounds like fun, especially as I'm just getting back into hanging. I would love to meet some of the other forum members. The 22nd is about the only time that would work for me, so we'll see if that weekend wins. Does anyone know if pets are allowed at the campground? I might have to bring Gus "the wonderdog" with me if I came.

Diva,
Here are a couple of addresses that I grabbed off of Google Maps that may help folks who haven't been to one of the Mohican hangs and want something to plug in their GPS.
1st stop is the registration kiosk located in the parking lot of the maintenance garage. The address below is the Forestry Service Office directly across the street from the kiosk:
950 Odnr Mohican 60
Perrysville, OH 44864
(419) 938-6222
Next is the parking area at the camp site:
849 Township Highway 3006
Perrysville, OH 44864

Looks like the 22nd takes the cake. I am going to see about getting out there with the workplace.
