Are they no longer making them? Can't find them on their site.
If not who is making one?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks raiffnuke!
I knew I had seen one somewhere but just couldn't remember where.
Now I just have to decide between the silnylon or the ripstop (or maybe both??)
I need a couple peak bags too.
Next payday.
Peace.

Interesting. I didn't realize the WS was unavailable now. I just talked about it in a recent hammock presentation. I'll update my slides with the DDP instead. Thanks!

Just curious… : what is the point of such a weather shield? I mean, even in a downpour the tarp is supposed to keep you dry, no?
You can use it as a very light wind breaker. Maybe it's too hot for a uq but breezy. Helps keep the wind off your back. Or you can use it to hold a pad or other insulation under you I you don't have a DL hammock.
So I'd say mine was used more for wind. Never for rain.

Yep, wind. And like all under covers ( another is the HHSS): especially when used with the smaller tarps, some extra protection from side ways rain and ground splashup. Some weather shields also incorporate some form of top cover, or all in one pieces called socks.
London, UK, Scotland, Washington State, GA mountains in the spring...All 20' of visibility in peas soup fog locations.... This is where the JRB DDP WS shines.
And yes, it does make a great wind protector, esp for those with minimal tarps.
