How To Store New River UQ

So I picked up the NR UQ while it was on sale. This is my first UQ. I know the best way to store it is laying open and flat, but I don't have the space for that.

Would the next best thing be to do this. I picked up one of these cotton bags:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o03_s00_i00

They measure 24"x34" so plenty of room. I figure I could very loosely role the UQ and put it in this bag then hang it in the closet.

Just trying to determine the best way to store it.

I work at a dive shop at my #3 job, we sell mesh snorkeling bags. I picked up enough of them for all my UQs and sleeping bags and (gasp) tents. They fill up my "toy" closet, but the wifey doesn't complain too bad.

Mine hangs on a hanger with the bungees acting as hanging tools for the hanger. Just put it in the back of the closet.

I have an extra bedroom so I keep a couple of mine spread out on top of the bed. I also use very large cotten storage bags for some of my TQs, UQs and sleeping bags.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

AHE will send you a storage sack ( its a mesh bag). I loosely put my quilt in it. I then place it on a shelf where it won't get compressed. Wife tried to stuff things around it tightly and an argument ensued till I explained why it had to be stored that way. She still doesn't understand (or cares) but caved in to me.It will also come with a stuff sack for your traveling hammocking experiences. I like mine a lot. May you enjoy your new purchase!

My New River Memorial Weekend Special (Long) arrived Saturday, and it looks great! Not sure I'll really get a chance to use it until the fall down here in South Georgia, but I had to take advantage of the deal. No mesh bag included, richtorfla, so I hung mine by the shock cord/bungees from a hanger in the closet like Postal. Anybody see any problem with that? Should I worry about the shock cord losing elasticity?

I certainly would. Mesh laundry bags ftw.
