Wow! I can't believe some of the stuff you guys were pulling out of there. How does 55 gallon drums get down there anyways? It's so cool the rats are out there taking care of things. Mad respect!

A gathering of the sad and wrong kind!
Amazing the amount of garbage and the kind of garbage you found in there! How on earth did all that stuff get there? Must have rained garbage – a tornado maybe! My shabby looking hat is ALL the way off to all the Gorge Rats who took the time to clean up such a special place! Thanks for this sad, yet important video, Hawk-eye!
Awesome job folks. We seem to have a similar breed of selfishness down here also.
Stupidity knows no boundaries.
What I have trouble with especially, is the mentality that would drag half of this stuff out there to dump in the first place. Its one kind of selfishness that tosses and old burger wrapper /drink cup / cigarette butt (pet hate that one, esp on the bike)
out the window, but purposefully carting this stuff out to "the ditch" is beyond me.
Its good to know there are folks who still care enough to clean up after the selfish oafs who couldnt care less.
I seem to pack out more than I packed in whenever I go out myself. Be it hiking, fishing, picnic. It just feels wrong to leave the garbage laying about, even if it isn't yours.
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.
Here are some pics and a video of the top crew at Wiseman's Point - a sure-handed, right-minded bunch of Gorge rats. It was great working with them.
Thank ya!
What can I say Bruciehi5 ... we love the place! Thanks for watching.
I hear that ... always keep a trash bag even on a day hike ... unfortunately you never know what you'll encounter!
Thanks for that Dave ... it gave the much needed perspective of the upper crew and the limited room they had to work from. Speaking for the Gorge Rats, we're proud to have you with us pal ... you are most definitely one of the Rats!

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.
Well done you Hawk-eye!
A tremendous effort by everyone involved!
