All others hangs I've been on, all were always welcome! I'm not actually going but I'm sure the invite is still open to all hammock forum brethren.

Of course, but seeing as it's the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, we'll need an American sacrifice...(evil laughter)

Ok I can do that. Are we still on for the weekend of August 11th?

I will book us to stay on Head Lake the first night and then onto Provoking Lake for the second night.

As an alternative the Western Uplands Trail is the same distance basically. Walk in and stay on the West side of Maggie L first night, then onto either Ramona L or Panther L for the second. With again a nice short walk to the cars on Sunday.

I will call and make the booking tomorow with the Highland Trail first choice and the Western Uplands as second.

Can we get a Roll-call list so that we know we will fit on the sites?

I'm in. I've got Fridays off, so i can do either a long or a short hike.

But other folks won't be able to drive to the park after work and then hike all the way to Head Lake. I'd suggest someone book a Provoking Lake site for those folks, and for those who don't want to do major hiking.
Then they can, if they wish, just hang out, and others who want a hike can circumnavigate Provoking Lake on Saturday day, etc.
The hiking folks who can arrive early on Friday can hike down to Head Lake, and join everybody at Provoking Lake on Saturday. What do you think?

I'm in. For the longer loop I'd think 3 nights would be ideal but either way I'm game.
