Good morning all! I'm new here and to hammock camping. I'm a BIG DIY guy and expect to learn a lot from this forum. I have a cloth hammock and am looking to purchase a light weight one and am here seeking "how to's" on things like suspension and underquilts etc. Nothing specific right now just going to search the forums and learn a bit. But I will be ask questions!!! Likely a lot of questions!

Guess a little backround info is in order: I'm 53 married to a very understanding wife (that doesn't understand the whole outdoors thing) have 2 children that have graduated from college this month! I have been camping bushcrafting (kind of hate that term as we used to just call it woodsmanship or scouting!) since the age of 7 or 8. I kayak fish mostly salt water, scuba dive, do lapidary, woodworking some leather, antler, bone and most other "crafts" Hunt (love muzzle loader) surf fish Have awful ADD which is why I am into so many different things! I love DIY stuff and love and respect the outdoors and wildlife.
I'm probably forgetting a lot but it's a start!
