ENO ridge line

I on the otherhand don't use a ridgeline, i just eyeball it, never had a problem. But I use whoopieslipngs on the ends, so it makes it real adjustable. As far as rope for tying out the tarp, i use whatever i have on hand, usually it is some 550 cord.

So, I'm ditching the MacCat and getting the Superfly from Warbonnet. Would para cord be a good tieout for the fly? Or will it stretch. I watched Shugs video and many others about the tarp, seems simple, I might be mistaken.

I use Mason Line (braided) from Home Depot, its super light and super tough. Oh and it's 6 bucks for about 500'. I also cut 10 inch shock cord and tie in a loop then attach the loops to my Superfly tie outs, from there i have a 5 inch tech line prusik knot wrapped around the 6 foot mason line and the shock cord. This system is super easy to adjust, I've been in a torrential down poor and this system worked flawlessly. It takes me about 2-3 mins to set up tarp and thats just taking my time. Good luck!

If you can get the ultimate hang it's got lots of illustration or you could buy the ridge line from whoopie sligs with the Dutch hardware on it, I use Lawson's glow wire on my tie outs and zing-it with Dutch flys and a Dutch hook for my ridge line. I don't think Brian is making the 4 season right now so the super fly or the old man winter is the way to go.

Is that mason line nylon or poly? All i find is nylon or cotton around here, and because of all the stretch comments about nylon didn't want to puck it up...

The ENO double nest is just shy of 10 feet long and I have the ridgeline at 96" and that is perfect for me it allows me to sleep on my side if I want as well My friend has his set closer to 98" so 98" +/- an inch or two and you cant go wrong
