Sweet hang! Thanks for sharing! I'm glad all the tips and reading payed off. That Woodsman X is a great hammock! I have one and love it. Do you have the single or double layer?

Geez, talk about jealous ... Excellent spot my friend.
Looks like a beautiful spot. Might want to keep that location secret.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Ahhhhh the whispering woods......nice first hang.
Thanks for the picture. That's what it's all about!
Born to hang!

Sounds and looks like a wonderful spot. Congratulations
In the past, I have always had help available to hang my gear. This past weekend I hung everything myself and it didn't fall in the middle of the night. I know your excitement. It wasn't my first hang but was my first with me doing all the work. Now I feel comfortable going camping on my own.
You must first be happy with yourself before anyone else can contribute to that happiness.....
I just love the greens of early Spring, don't you?
Awesome setup, looks quite homey. Get some hiking poles (or find sticks every time) to support your "porch" for when the rains come.
Hi Draken
I live nearby this brewery you are talking about. I haven't had my first hang yet. My DIY hammock needs the final touch. You can see pictures of it in my gallery. I have set it up in my backyard for testing.
