2nd night out

I spent the second night out while on a family camping trip over Memorial Day weekend at Goose Point on Philpott Lake. I hung in between my parents and my campsite. (see picture)

It was a little weird at first and since so many people were in the campground it was quite loud and difficult to shut out the light and sounds of camper doors closing and stuff but I got to sleep around midnight. (see picture)

It was quite warm as well. i only slept with my 45* sleeping bag and was fine. (could be due to the sunburn on my upper body)

i think that it got down to maybe low 60's

My wife said while we were there "lets get hammock set ups for us and the kids and not even mess with a tent." I said sounds good to me. (see picture)

I got my dad a Direct Action Outdoors raid hammock for an early father's day (and Just because) . He has told me every time we talk about how much he appreciates it. It is a nice hammock. (see picture)

Looks like ya'll had a good time, despite all the campers/noise. We did the same, all last week. I and one of my boys were in hammocks and the wife was in the tent. Hammock is the only way to go
