a 26" wide, or that wide gossamer at 39" cut down to size a human figure would work wonders. or an SPE.

I used a torso length pad over the weekend it worked great for me.. alot better than it did in my double ENO that shifted everywhere.
Also i forgot to ask in the post above.. what are your opinions on using a Exped Multimat in this hammock.. I do plan on buying UQ and TQ setup for this hammock however I'm planning a AT thru hike and i would like to kept the option to sleep in the occasional shelter open by carrying a pad. Any suggestions to my dilemma?
its my opinion, -- but i'd carry a 1/4" torso pad, and use that on the ground. lightweight, but could be used infinitely.
esp. if you plan to also use a UQ. i'd get a 3/4 quilt, and use the pad to equal out the weight vs. full length quilt. it should keep you warm enough on the ground, and add insulation if needed to the quilt.
my pack uses the folded gg torso pad as a backpanel... then i use it to sit around camp, fan the fire, windscreen, add insulation to the UQ, as a footpad for my phoenix UQ, cover the vitals on the ground,
