Cuben Fiber Tarp Storage ?

When I was at Trail Days I broke down and ordered a new HG 4 Season Tarp. Because I have a Switchback hammock I needed a 144" ridge line which they made for me. It just arrived and I can not wait to get out and try it out.

One question for all of you that have Cuben Tarps. They recommended that when breaking down the tarp the best way to pack it is to fold it. Supposedly that will make it last longer then just stuffing it into a sack like I used to do with my OES tarp.

Well like anything that you try to fold back up and get it into the sack it came it, I do not see getting it into as neat a package as to when they ship it to you. So curious, how do you all pack up your tarps? Folded, stuffed into a stuff sack or what?

I've had my cuben tarp for 1 1/2 years now, and taken it out many times. MountainGoat, www.outdoortrailgear.com made a set of mesh skins that fit it perfectly. No issues. Great set of skins!!

On the trail I stuff my cuben tarp inside my cuben tarp tubes. Ive had no problems. At home I fold very loosely inside a tupperwear dror.
