looks good. With how low you are there's not much risk of getting hurt in a hammock/suspension failure, but you seem a long way from the tarp if you get a windy rain.
What part of PA are you in?
Yeah, hanging a little lower than I wanted. Still trying to get the suspension right. We're in PGH area.

Might have to stake the tarp lower in windy rains.
I started on my first one with 3 yrds of material, then hemmed, gathered and whipped the ends. It was OK, but I needed one for the GF too, so on my 2nd try I figured I would go a little longer and let her keep the 1st one.
The one in the picture was 4 yrds of material with a channel on each end through which I ran the whipping (Was just trying to give the ends a cleaner look). I am thinking I need to shorten it by at least a foot or maybe two.
Still trying to get the right ratio of suspension length, height on the tree, ridgeline and hammock length.
